AutoPrint vs Mapiful: which city-map print should you choose?
Choose AutoPrint for its supported data-based city designs or artwork-to-product workflow. Choose Mapiful for its documented personalized map editor and occasion-based designs. Keep an existing print design when a new editor would not improve the gift.

Compare one concrete job
Example: one unframed city print, a fixed orientation and outer size, shipped to one US address. In AutoPrint, choose the city design or artwork, select an available physical format and size, and inspect the crop and product options.
In Mapiful, select a street-map product, choose the location, customize the text, color and size, then review the selected print. Its catalog also documents canvas maps, so canvas availability is not an exclusive AutoPrint advantage. Match the actual dimensions and material before comparing the pictures.
Compare the cost for this scenario
A comparable delivered total is unknown. Neither an unselected catalog item nor a promotion establishes the price for the matched size, paper and destination. For each service, calculate selected product + selected options + shipping + tax in the same currency. No matched checkout quotes were obtained in this review.
Do not compare an unframed AutoPrint poster with a framed Mapiful product as if the specifications were equal. Offers and regional shipping thresholds can change; confirm the actual selections before buying.
What moving the work involves
Save the original artwork, place name or coordinates, label text, orientation and intended dimensions. Recreate a small preview in the destination editor and inspect labels and the visible area.
No importer between the editors was verified, and editable map layers may not transfer. Confirm export rights before expecting to upload another company’s design. Existing orders and delivery obligations remain with the service that accepted them.
Why choose AutoPrint for a city print
AutoPrint offers streets, terrain, population, building height and city-growth designs. That gives you a decision about what the map expresses, not just the colors around the same view.
A person interested in the shape of a city may prefer a terrain or height design. Someone remembering familiar routes may prefer streets. Open the available city pages and compare the actual designs before selecting the product.
Where Mapiful is a useful alternative
Mapiful’s official catalog includes a personalized street-map editor as well as star, birth and other poster designs. Its editor is worth considering when that specific personal-map workflow is your priority.
The two products overlap in map gifts, but the catalog and design choices differ. Do not assume that one service’s place coverage, personalization controls or physical options exist on the other.
Choose by the finished print
For a gift about the shape of a hometown, find the city in AutoPrint and compare its available streets, terrain and other data-based views. Our advantage for this task is the choice of what the city image expresses. Choose the view with a connection the recipient will recognize.
If your idea depends on Mapiful’s specific map editor or occasion-based design, check that workflow directly. On either site, compare the exact physical size, frame options and shipping quote. A starting price for a different size is not a like-for-like comparison.
